The Crossbar Post is an online news organization dedicated to bringing football fans the highest quality pieces of literature on the sport. Whether it’s in the form of our intensely thought-provoking long-form stories or our shorter manuscripts for quick and easy, on-the-go reading, you’re sure to find something you’ll like to read.
Alex Dieker, Founder and Editor-in-Chief
Alex founded The Crossbar Post to bring football fans what they want and what they need: true, detailed journalism and storytelling. In a world of catchy headlines with no power behind the story, Alex felt that creating The Post would add to the genuine and worthwhile football websites on the internet. Alex attends Bryant University in Rhode Island, where he studies business (and watches a lot of Manchester City and Ajax games). When not writing for TCP, Alex is probably writing for any number of other publications or playing Football Manager.
Aaron Bonsu, Contributor
Born in London, Aaron Bonsu attends Bryant University whilst studying political science and business. Aaron has written for the site, but his most impactful contribution is his co-hosting of Crossbar Friday — the weekly radio show broadcasted by Aaron and Alex. Aaron is a lifelong West Ham fan, so be sure to show lots of kindness to him as he struggles through some pretty bad results.
